On October 2013, Kylook introduced the important feature: Selective Syncing of Groups. You are now able to select the groups to be synced with your email accounts and devices.
Please click this link to learn more about Selective Groups Syncing:
If you have already selected contacts that are synchronized with certain accounts or devices:
The selection by groups will replace the selection by contacts !
The selection you have done is still valid, except that you will see that by groups.
To make the transition as easy as possible, Kylook will display the selected contacts (for sync) in new groups.
These groups will get names related to the accounts or devices you are syncing the contacts with.
If you are syncing 3 contacts with the account “firstname.lastname@example.org”, Kylook will generate a new group with the name “Sync-Gmail(1)”.
Syncing Ana, John & Peter with email@example.com
In the picture below you see the website (“Sync with”) where you selected the 3 contacts to be synchronized with the Gmail account “firstname.lastname@example.org”.
Kylook create a new Group “Sync-Gmail(1)” with the 3 contacts (Ana, John & Peter)
Syncing the group “Sync-Gmail(1)” with “email@example.com”.
Kylook shows the new group on the websites “My contacts” (1) and “Sync with”(2).
On “Sync with” (2) you see the new group syncing with the account “firstname.lastname@example.org”.
This way the 3 contacts remain synchronized with the account “email@example.com”
Protect your Privacy
Almost every APP on your device CAN read the “Standard” Android Contact List.
Protect your privacy
For important contacts, those you want to protect from thefts, we recommend you not to sync these contacts with the Standard Device Address Book. Your contact list will be safer if you keep these only in your Kylook APP!
