Android: how to change the email signature?

How to setup email signatures for outgoing email messages from your Android device. It’s a quick & easy process, and will make your email messages appear more personal / professional.

By default, every email you send from your Android phone includes the same signature, like this:

                                 “Sent from my Samsung”

It’s easy to change your iPhone email signature, just follow these steps depending on whether you use Gmail or the standard email App.

.Remark: the next images apply for an Android 4.1x, but the steps are similar for other devices.

For standard email APP (generic email signature for non-Gmail accounts)

1. On the main screen: Click on the icon “email”

 2. Click on the device “Menu / Options” button

3. Select the option “Settings”
4. Click on the email address you’d like to setup the signature

5. Click on the SIGNATURE option.

6. Enter the text for the signature you’d like here and then click the OK button.

Repeat that for each email address.

For Gmail APP (Google mail)

1. On the main screen: click on the icon  “Gmail”

2. Click on the device “Menu / Options” button

3. Select the option “Settings”

4. Click on the email address you’d like to setup the signature

5. Click on the SIGNATURE option

6. Enter the text for the signature you’d like here and then click the OK button.

Repeat that for each email address.

A modern and effective way is using your Kcode like in the example. Just add your Kcode at the end of this url (link):   “www.kylook.com/k/

In the example the Kcode ANAWORK will be placed like that:

www.kylook.com/k/ANAWORK

The people who get your email and tap on your Kcode link will be able to access your current (public) data. If you change the information, the site will be updated immediately!

The image shows an example for Ana Kylook. That is how the data assigned to the Kcode ANAWORK will be shown in internet.

The great thing is that you don’t need to update your email signature if any of your contact data changes, furthermore the people who got your email before the change, will see the new contact data with just a click on your Kcode.

Protect your privacy – Smartphone & Tablet

Warning: almost every APP on your device CAN read the “standard” Android contact list.

For important contacts, those you want to protect from thefts, we recommend you not to sync these contacts with the standard Device Address Book.

Your contact list will be safer if you keep these only in your Kylook APP.
